Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at Symmetry HR Outsourcing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information for cases, including client interviews and fact-gathering.
  • Maintain and organize complex legal files and documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare correspondence and memos, as well as perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare and respond to notices, objections, responses, and demands, and calendaring court deadlines and scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and court dates.
  • Draft correspondence and routine pleadings, and assist in other miscellaneous aspects of personal injury litigation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and/or completion of an approved paralegal program/Paralegal Certificate.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as a litigation paralegal, including plaintiff experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Excellent technical skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
