Job Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the Compliance Manager and Vice President of Compliance by providing essential administrative and organizational support. This position involves executing assigned tasks and undertaking additional responsibilities as directed by the Compliance Manager.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. A college degree or a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the capability to learn new software applications.
  3. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  5. Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively to meet deadlines, and maintain a keen attention to detail.
  6. Aptitude for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaborating within a team as well as independently.
  7. A genuine eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in managed care or healthcare compliance.
  2. A college degree.
  3. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
  4. Strong analytical capabilities, particularly in data collection and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a compliance liaison within the organization, offering support and resources as necessary.
  2. Execute daily administrative and support tasks, including but not limited to taking meeting minutes, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents such as agendas, memos, training materials, and annual reports.
  3. Assist in coordinating audits, which includes liaising with external auditors, scheduling, organizing, maintaining records, and reviewing documentation.
  4. Act as a system administrator and subject matter expert for various compliance-related software applications.
  5. Support routine auditing and monitoring activities as required to assist department staff.
  6. Complete regular compliance monitoring tasks as assigned.
