POSITION SUMMARY: The Multi-Store Operations Manager is accountable for the effective management of several retail locations. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service through all team members, ensuring that staff engage in suggestive selling and possess comprehensive product knowledge. Responsibilities include maintaining merchandise levels on shelves and coolers, as well as overseeing various cleanliness and organization tasks. The manager is also responsible for the operation of point of sale (POS) systems and related equipment, including Cash Kiosks and LVL Machines. Scheduling staff to meet operational needs within budget constraints, addressing attendance matters, training new employees, and providing performance feedback are key duties. The manager will handle purchase orders and manage inventory through the established control system. Furthermore, the role involves assisting LVL technicians with cash management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION:

This is a full-time role with variable hours based on the needs of the stores and the company. The minimum work week consists of 45 hours, with any hours exceeding 55 requiring supervisor approval. Flexibility for evening, holiday, and weekend shifts is essential, and the manager may be required to work at other nearby locations as needed. Full-time status mandates a minimum of 35 hours worked per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a retail environment utilizing a point of sale system.
- Proficient understanding of the English language, including spelling and grammar.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and email software.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position includes supervisory duties.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This role does not involve overnight travel. However, travel to other Gumby's or Geno's locations for supervision, as well as trips to the bank for deposits and corporate meetings, may be necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee all operations across multiple retail locations.
2. Ensure exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming environment, greeting customers, and promoting suggestive selling.
3. Manage all POS transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies regarding returns and cash handling.
4. Schedule staff effectively to meet operational needs while managing attendance issues.
5. Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff on policies and procedures.
6. Conduct employee evaluations and address performance issues as necessary.
7. Assist LVL technicians with cash management and compliance with gaming regulations.
8. Ensure timely completion of end-of-shift reporting and cash balancing.
9. Maintain inventory control and manage merchandise replenishment.
10. Communicate maintenance and operational issues promptly.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires standing, walking, and light-to-moderate physical activity, including lifting items up to 30 pounds. Regular exposure to noise and various environmental factors is expected.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:

This role utilizes standard office equipment, POS systems, and cleaning tools. A valid driver's license is required for travel-related duties.
