About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Assistant to join our team at Dungarvin. As a Personal Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and companion care to individuals in their homes or in the community
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with their goals and aspirations, promoting independence and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Document and report on individual progress and any concerns
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills for documentation
