Position Overview

Residential Support Assistant

This is a part-time position during the first shift, operating from 7 AM to 3 PM. Additionally, we are looking to fill a full-time third shift role, which runs from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM, covering Sunday to Wednesday nights and alternating Fridays and Saturdays. This role is essential for providing support to residents in a caring environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist residents with their daily living activities, including personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
  2. Promote social interaction and engagement among residents.
  3. Support the activity program by leading activities as directed by the Activity Director or supervisor.
  4. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all residents are monitored consistently.
  5. Document relevant information regarding residents' health and functional status in the designated record-keeping system.
  6. Provide direct support and supervision to residents.
  7. Help maintain a safe living environment for all residents.
  8. Report any changes or concerns regarding residents' health to the Director of Nursing or on-duty Nurse.
  9. Keep accurate records of residents' meal intake, bathing, and other personal care activities.
  10. Assist residents with their personal laundry needs.
  11. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
  12. Participate in monthly staff meetings and review all pertinent resident information in communication logs and daily notes.
  13. Completion of a background check and drug screening is required.
