Passion for Culture: A genuine enthusiasm and understanding of pop culture is essential; you should be actively engaged in communities related to music, gaming, fashion, food, internet culture, etc. This role sits at the crossroads of creativity, strategy, marketing, technology, content creation, and production; your energy should reflect your lifestyle. You will influence creative ideas, from the concepts presented to the influencers chosen, to the content produced, and the language used in posts.

Cultural Competence: A solid understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) is crucial. You must be culturally aware, with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Influencer Landscape Expertise: A deep comprehension of the influencer ecosystem is required. Proven capability to build and maintain relationships with key cultural figures (celebrities, influencers, artists, thought leaders) directly or through their representatives. You should be open to public-facing opportunities, willing to discuss influencer trends when the chance arises.

Vendor and Partner Management: In a rapidly evolving industry with new technologies emerging frequently, you must have experience managing requests for proposals (RFPs) and engaging with leading tech companies to understand their offerings and unique features.

Leadership Readiness: In collaboration with the North American Influence Lead, you will learn to take initiative and lead effectively in the best interests of both clients and the agency while also mentoring and coaching mid to junior staff members on the influencer team.

Proactive Opportunity Identification: Seek out influencer opportunities (both organic and new) to ensure influencer marketing remains a vital marketing discipline and revenue generator for your assigned accounts.

Risk Management Acumen: Understand the importance of adhering to best practices (FDA guidelines, FTC updates, platform requirements) to minimize risks and liabilities for every campaign you oversee.

Audience Engagement Experience: Proven experience in building engaged audiences across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and Clubhouse.
