HR Operations Specialist

- Facilitate the documentation and scheduling for an efficient onboarding experience for new employees, collaborating with various departments to ensure a welcoming first day.
- Manage all administrative functions related to onboarding, orientation sessions, and exit interviews, including data management in human resources information systems (HRIS) and ensuring compliance through regular audits.
- Deliver comprehensive HR support to staff, addressing issues related to absence, health, conduct, grievances, organizational changes, and other employee relations matters.
- Support the recruitment process by screening applicants, conducting reference checks, maintaining files, verifying licenses, and communicating with candidates.
- Serve as the primary backup for payroll administration, which includes biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee records, processing bonuses and incentives, managing vacation and sick leave, handling expense reimbursements, validating hourly employee data, and implementing benefits modifications.
- Assist in the dissemination, interpretation, and maintenance of the employee handbook, directory, and organizational structure, while contributing to the development of company policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, along with a commitment to ethical practices and cultural sensitivity.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures.
- Proficient in HRIS with a willingness to adapt to new technical systems as required.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in an HR role.
- Resourceful approach and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with national employment laws and regulations.
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
