Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Ensure efficient guest registration, checkout, and telephone service, while maintaining brand standards.
  • Revenue Maximization: Implement upsell and perfect sell programs, hotel loyalty programs, and other revenue-generating initiatives to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Expense and Labor Controls: Manage departmental and labor expenses, controlling overtime and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with Front Office Quality Standards, track guest satisfaction surveys, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Assist the FOM with interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and resolving problems with staff members, ensuring timely completion of performance appraisals.
  • Communication: Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Problem Resolution: Anticipate and resolve customer complaints, operational issues, and business flow problems to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in front office management or a related role.
  • Skills: Proficient in PMS systems, computer literacy, and financial management; advanced knowledge of brand's reward program; ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays; regular attendance and punctuality essential.
Working Conditions

This position requires 75%+ of time on their feet, with some lifting required. The ability to remain calm and alert during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity is essential.
