Position Summary

The Assistant Front Office Supervisor at Pearl Real Estate plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Front Office by nurturing leadership and promoting the unique Pearl culture within the Front Office team. This position is dedicated to inspiring exceptional hospitality experiences characterized by enthusiasm, compassion, and a commitment to unlocking individual potential.

The Assistant Front Office Supervisor shares responsibility for the efficient operation and management of the Front Office, ensuring seamless coordination across the hotel. A key focus is on delivering outstanding customer satisfaction through continuous training on our service touchpoints and ensuring that all team members are aligned with these standards. All hotel operations must reflect the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and embody the Pearl culture.

  • Maintain hotel cleanliness and asset management.

  • Adhere to security protocols for cash handling.
  • Train staff to deliver exceptional service aligned with brand standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction proactively and improve scores.
  • Resolve guest issues positively to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist Front Desk with unresolved matters as needed.
  • Review logs for issues requiring attention.
  • Ensure completion of front desk checklists each shift.
  • Act as Front Office Manager in their absence.
  • Possess operational knowledge of reservations and sales processes.
  • Ensure proper uniform standards are maintained.
  • Uphold a safe working environment through compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Treat all guests, associates, vendors, and coworkers with respect.
  • Ensure understanding of emergency procedures through ongoing training.
  • Monitor and respond to guest satisfaction scores to meet goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary for the success of Pearl and the team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Hotel Front Office.
  • At least 2 years as a Supervisor or Assistant Front Office Manager in full-service hotel chains.
  • Strong prioritization, delegation, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to evaluate Front Desk staff performance and provide ongoing training.
  • Adept at coaching and providing clear direction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Desire for personal and team leadership development.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to make decisions with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficient in various computer software programs (Office Suite, MS Office, Outlook, Excel, GSuite, etc.).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
  • Visual recognition and response to color and depth perception.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Comfortable working in moderate noise levels.
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
