About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Records/Identifications Clerk to join our team at the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing defendants, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to the general public
  • Process defendants through the Criminal Justice Information System
  • Verify warrant information and book defendants
  • Prepare packets and documents for the Central Records department
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for the Security Chief
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of the justice system and office procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Knowledge of basic math concepts and ability to perform calculations
