About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced National Account Executive to join our team at Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our national accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow national accounts to achieve revenue growth and profitability
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to national account customers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and customer engagement
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of business-to-business sales experience in the transportation industry
  • Proven track record of success in managing and growing national accounts
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
