Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior National Account Manager to lead our Value Channel sales efforts. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a team of National Account Managers and Sales Analysts, building relationships with corporate level Category Managers, and driving sales growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of National Account Managers and Sales Analysts to achieve sales targets and grow the Value Channel business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate level Category Managers and other key stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the Value Channel business, including new product launches and existing product growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute Value Channel specific initiatives.
  • Own the P&L and Trade Spend responsibility for the Value Channel.
  • Foster relationships with key customer contacts across multiple departments as needed.
  • Lead the Joint Business Planning process with the Value Channel Commercial Team and key Customers.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a CPG environment, with a strong understanding of the Value Channel.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and increasing responsibility.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Power User Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to deliver compelling and persuasive presentations.
  • Ability to synthesize data to accurately assess situations and find actionable solutions.
  • Understand the long-term business and financial implications of decisions made.
  • Experience with Nielsen and/or IRI is a plus.
