Quality Management System:
- Assist in ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 standards across all facilities.
- Support hazard analysis and the HACCP program for food safety.
- Prepare for and successfully complete internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with facilities to enhance laboratory and inline measurement systems.
- Provide training for personnel on testing methodologies.
- Maintain calibration standards for all quality-related instruments.
- Oversee daily checks of SPC data entry by Machine Operators.
- Support mold qualification and verification during production processes.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing trends in quality issues.
- Review customer feedback and collaborate with plants to implement improvements.
- Work with production teams to optimize process settings for quality assurance.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement projects within the department.
- Implement the NEXT global continuous improvement program.
- Help maintain documentation control and repository for customer specifications.
- Optimize the quality documentation system for efficiency.
- Review and analyze plant data reports for accuracy and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis processes with relevant departments.
- Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
The physical demands of this role include regular standing, walking, reaching, and occasional climbing. Employees must also be able to use their hands for various tasks and communicate effectively. Adherence to safety and environmental standards is mandatory.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, with 1-2 years of relevant experience or recent graduates.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or laboratory settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality assurance practices and laboratory testing equipment.
- Strong statistical knowledge; Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
- Project management experience is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical analysis software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead small teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
