We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Central Transport. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our freight movement and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to freight damage, shortages, and overages.
  • Oversee and enforce outbound load quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide disciplinary action for load quality issues from other terminals.
  • Take inventory of load bars and other tools used to secure freight.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on OS&D findings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
  • At least 3 years of experience in LTL, distribution, logistics, transportation, or operations management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HU Control functions and computer systems.
  • Ability to work off-shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
