As a key member of the Quality Department, you will support ALPLA North America's Integrated Management and Quality Assurance systems through various projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering quality-related assistance to all manufacturing facilities within the region.
Main Responsibilities:
Quality Management Systems
- Assist facilities in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 standards.
- Support hazard analysis and the HACCP program for food safety.
- Prepare for and successfully complete internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with facilities to enhance laboratory and inline measurement systems.
- Provide training to plant personnel on testing methodologies.
- Ensure calibration standards are upheld for all quality-related equipment.
- Monitor online testing through daily SPC data checks.
- Assist in mold qualifications and verification assessments during production.
- Help analyze trends in quality issues across facilities.
- Review customer feedback and assist in implementing improvements.
- Work with production teams to optimize process settings during product qualification.
- Lead and support quality improvement projects within the department.
- Facilitate the implementation of the NEXT global continuous improvement program.
- Assist in maintaining documentation control and repository.
- Optimize quality documentation systems.
- Review and analyze plant data reports for accuracy and improvement opportunities.
- Oversee the Root Cause Analysis process, collaborating with relevant departments.
- Promote a culture of quality within the organization.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with 1-2 years of relevant experience or recent graduates.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or laboratory settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality assurance practices.
- Experience with laboratory testing equipment is advantageous.
- Strong statistical knowledge; Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
- Project management experience is desirable.
- Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, SPC, MiniTab).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
