Parts Supply Administrator

Overview:

The Parts Supply Administrator is responsible for overseeing inventory levels and managing the procurement of non-stock components to ensure seamless operations within the Service Department. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to maintain precise inventory records.
  • Order all parts directly from suppliers within established vendor timelines on a daily basis.
  • Place routine stock orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Receive and organize stock parts upon delivery.
  • Maintain accurate bin locations by part number to ensure efficient parts organization.
  • Monitor and adjust parts inventory reorder levels as necessary.
  • Manage the return of excess parts in accordance with vendor policies.
  • Assist technicians with parts selection as needed.
  • Communicate daily with the Shop Manager/Supervisor regarding received parts and any issues with orders.
  • Document parts received and orders fulfilled in the system as per parts room protocols.
  • Facilitate parts inventory transfers as requested by various branches.
  • Collect parts as requested by the Shop Manager.
  • Ensure the parts room is organized and maintained to reflect high standards of quality for customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills for interaction with technicians and vendors.
