Role Summary:

The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator is tasked with overseeing all facets of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the organization of the warehouse, and upholding cleanliness and operational efficiency while complying with corporate safety standards. This position includes preparing items for dispatch, verifying the accuracy and condition of shipments, and executing essential administrative duties such as procurement, invoicing, and order follow-ups.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Safely package and dispatch delicate equipment and instruments.
  • Receive and store items, managing inventory through SAGE100.
  • Process billing, purchasing, inventory transactions, and warehouse transfers using SAGE100.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Maintain familiarity with shipping regulations and routine inventory upkeep.
  • Conduct deliveries and pickups, maintain company vehicles, and oversee customer site inventories.
  • Manage additional tasks such as ordering supplies, handling returns, and filing freight claims.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with SAGE100 is preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License and strong communication abilities are required.
  • Capability to multi-task, deliver exceptional customer service, and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Physical and Mental Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and lift heavy items.
  • Ability to read and interpret various documents and perform basic mathematical operations.
  • Work primarily in a quiet warehouse environment with some exposure to equipment and machinery.

Work Environment:

This role is situated in a warehouse setting characterized by a generally quiet noise level. Adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures is essential.
