Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified educator to join our team as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students with moderate disabilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Appropriate content/program area educator license (Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities) and grade level (5-12) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
  • Experience working with students with moderate disabilities.
