Senior Project Manager, Architecture & Engineering is sought for a direct hire opportunity with SOC LLC. This role involves a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the most technically intricate projects, emphasizing risk, resource, and scope management. Ensure effective communication within project teams to enhance efficiency and keep members updated on any developments.
  • Engage with clients to understand their expectations, develop deliverables, and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle. Cultivate strong relationships with clients and end-users while managing project scope.
  • Exhibit strong financial management skills by preparing budgets, proposals, and negotiating contracts. Monitor project labor hours and expenses to meet or exceed budgetary targets.
  • Coordinate and manage projects by creating detailed plans to achieve objectives and integrate various technical activities, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, fire protection, and civil design.
  • Facilitate in-house meetings with project teams to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
  • Deliver presentations to outline project progress to clients and staff, and conduct ongoing project meetings to maintain team communication.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and their application in building design, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, building sciences, sustainability, and plumbing systems. Proficient in design techniques and tools for producing technical plans and drawings.
  • Exceptional management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve conflicts. Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of multitasking and providing leadership. Experience in mentoring and coaching.
  • Familiarity with regulations governing specific market segments, such as federal, state, military, or municipal projects. Proficient in project management tools, including PERT and Gantt charts.
  • Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of personnel and resources.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of delivering quality performance. High customer satisfaction ratings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • PMP certification is highly preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Registered Architect (RA)
  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required.

Employment Pre-requisites:

Successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis is mandatory for eligibility.
