Senior Project Manager, Architecture & Engineering is sought for a direct hire opportunity with SOC LLC to work in a hybrid capacity.

*Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance to be considered for this role.

The primary responsibility involves guiding and inspiring a diverse team of engineers and architects dedicated to delivering effective solutions that align with client missions on complex and challenging projects. Senior Project Managers may oversee specific segments of the portfolio in specialized markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee technically intricate projects requiring focused attention on risk, resource, and scope management. Foster efficient communication within project teams, ensuring all members are updated on changes and developments.
  • Engage with clients to clarify expectations, generate deliverables, and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle. Cultivate strong relationships with clients and end-users while managing project scope.
  • Exhibit strong financial management skills in preparing budgets, proposals, and negotiating contracts. Ensure project labor hours and expenses align with or exceed budgeted contributions.
  • Coordinate and manage projects by developing detailed plans to achieve objectives and integrate various technical activities, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, fire protection, and civil design.
  • Facilitate in-house meetings with project teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Deliver presentations to outline project objectives to clients and staff; conduct ongoing project meetings to maintain team communication.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and their application in building design, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, building sciences, sustainability, and plumbing systems. Proficient in design techniques and tools for producing technical plans and drawings.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and resolve conflicts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of multitasking and providing mentorship.
  • Familiarity with regulations governing specific market segments, such as Federal, State Department, Military, or municipal projects. Knowledge of project management tools, including PERT and Gantt charts.
  • Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of personnel and resources.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of delivering quality performance. Strong customer satisfaction ratings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • PMP certification highly preferred
  • Professional Engineer license (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis is required for eligibility.
