Compensation: $12.00/hour

Overview:

The Concierge Services Team plays a vital role in delivering exceptional on-site support within various venues, including the CRUC, Digital Auditorium, and Underground. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities, such as:

  • Managing the Information Desk in the CRUC
  • Assisting with events in the Digital Auditorium
  • Providing support for activities in the Underground
  • Arranging furniture for events
  • Offering directions and answering inquiries about UMW
  • Facilitating ticket sales
  • Possibly providing basic sound and lighting assistance for events

Comprehensive training will be provided by student supervisors and the Facilities and Events Manager to ensure proficiency in all aspects of the role.

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service is preferred.

Additional Skills:

Candidates should possess:

  • The ability to assess client needs and implement effective solutions for events
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address complaints and provide suitable resolutions
  • Familiarity with computers and relevant software applications
