Job OverviewGeneral Purpose
To strategize and execute all sales initiatives within designated territories. Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and overseeing the quality of product and service delivery. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the Fire and EMT sectors. At Dinges Fire Company, our team members are dedicated to fostering a 'Help First' approach to support departments in enhancing their operational efficiency and safety.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales action plans and strategies
  • Organize and schedule sales activities
  • Conduct sales outreach to both new and existing clients
  • Create and deliver presentations of company offerings to current and prospective customers
  • Engage in negotiations with clients
  • Draft and present sales proposals
  • Address sales inquiries and concerns via phone, email, or in-person
  • Ensure high levels of customer service satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships
  • Follow up on sales activities
  • Track and report on sales performance for management review
  • Participate in sales training and industry events
Qualifications and Experience
  • Familiarity with fire service equipment and tools
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications

Additional Information
  • All sales representatives operate as independent contractors under a 1099 arrangement. Compensation is commission-based with significant earning potential, typically around 40% of the gross profit from each sale.
  • Dinges Fire Company provides an excellent opportunity for a rewarding part-time role that can supplement income. Many of our sales representatives are also active firefighters, which enhances their understanding of our products and services.
  • Representatives have ownership of their sales territories, a unique aspect in the Fire and EMT industry. You will manage a variety of essential items tailored to benefit Fire Fighters and First Responders in your area.
