At VTG, we are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. This role will provide daily program, analytical, and management support to senior level personnel.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related area. A minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant experience may satisfy degree requirements.

This position is contingent upon contract award and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. The selected candidate must be a US Citizen.

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $55,000-$72,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing detail-oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies. You may also be involved in various administrative tasks and analyze relevant data, which may include funds, labor hours, or expenditures.

Develop solutions to problems and reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily program, analytical, and management support to senior level personnel

  • Developing solutions to problems
  • Preparing recommendations and understanding the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture
