Overview:
As the Stroke Care Program Manager, you will be pivotal in Beebe Healthcare's dedication to delivering outstanding stroke treatment.

In this essential position, you will manage and coordinate all facets of the Stroke Program, collaborating closely with leadership and the Medical Director to uphold the highest standards of patient care.


Your expertise in stroke care will be instrumental in furthering our mission to provide innovative, compassionate treatment.

Responsibilities:


In partnership with nursing and other team members, oversee the continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of stroke patient outcomes.

Provide ongoing clinical education related to the medical management of stroke patients.


Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary clinicians to proactively identify the clinical needs of the Neuroscience service line and formulate a plan to address those needs.

Adapt criteria of evidence-based medicine to ensure appropriate care.

Monitor the appropriateness of care based on evidence-based practices.

Recommend clinical pathways and current best practices to achieve improved clinical outcomes.

Performance Improvement:

Through data evaluation and outcome analysis, identify opportunities for enhancement, collaborate with the team to devise an improvement plan, implement changes, and assess success, followed by necessary modifications based on data monitoring.

Serve as a clinical resource for the care and education of stroke patients and/or their caregivers.

Develop patient education programs tailored to specific stroke/TIA patient populations.

Decision Making:
Ability to make informed decisions regarding the case management of stroke patients.

Stay updated on TJC advanced disease-specific standards to ensure compliance as a Primary Stroke Center.

Conduct statistical analysis of quality data for trending purposes.

Ensure the organization is Stroke ready year-round and prepared for certification review surveys.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required. Clinical expertise in caring for stroke patients is essential. SCRN or CCRN certification preferred.

Must document a minimum of 8 hours of stroke-specific education annually.

Familiarity with (GWTG) Get With The Guidelines - Stroke and American Heart Association is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required, or in pursuit of a Master's Degree is preferred.

NIH certification is required annually.
