Position Overview

The Wholesale Account Manager is tasked with overseeing wholesale accounts, driving new business initiatives, supporting product launches, and enhancing sales within our wholesale division. We seek a sales-driven professional capable of forging strong partnerships with our wholesale clients and acting as a brand representative for our offerings. This role collaborates closely with the sales team and various departments to achieve financial targets and ensure consistent growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive sales strategies for wholesale accounts.
  • Identify and develop new accounts while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insightful reports.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and conduct regular visits to dispensaries.
  • Organize and execute promotional events to enhance brand visibility and educate partners and consumers about our products.
  • Expand upon our existing network of customer relationships and industry knowledge.
  • Provide consistent updates regarding the status of wholesale accounts.
  • Design promotional strategies, advertising campaigns, and educational programs to boost sales.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities and assist with sales agreements.
  • Keep an updated database of contacts for each wholesale partner.
  • Generate excitement and coordinate the introduction of new wholesale products.
  • Facilitate wholesale orders and support the fulfillment process.
  • Represent the organization positively to employees, customers, industry stakeholders, and the community.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B wholesale sales is preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while cultivating strong customer relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing trends and priorities.
  • Familiarity with the cannabis industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong project coordination skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively.
  • Consistently upholds high ethical and professional standards.
  • Exhibits honesty and integrity in alignment with the company's vision and policies.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • This role requires frequent local travel, up to 75%.
