Position Overview

The Wholesale Account Manager is tasked with overseeing wholesale accounts, securing new business opportunities, facilitating product launches, and driving sales within our wholesale division. We seek a sales-driven individual capable of establishing robust relationships with our wholesale partners and acting as a brand ambassador for our offerings. This role collaborates with the sales team and cross-functional partners to achieve our financial objectives and ensure consistent year-over-year growth. The Wholesale Account Manager reports directly to the State Wholesale Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement all sales initiatives for our wholesale accounts.
  • Identify and develop new accounts, enhance sales with existing clients, and cultivate essential customer relationships.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Analyze customer and competitor trends and provide regular market insights.
  • Maintain consistent communication and conduct regular visits to dispensaries with our clients.
  • Organize, coordinate, and execute events to promote our brand and educate our partners and customers about our products.
  • Expand upon our existing network of customer relationships and industry knowledge.
  • Provide regular updates regarding the status of our wholesale accounts.
  • Develop promotional strategies, advertising campaigns, and educational programs to boost sales with clients.
  • Identify and monitor new business prospects and assist with sales agreements.
  • Maintain and update a contact database for each of our wholesale partners.
  • Generate excitement and coordinate the launch of new wholesale products.
  • Solicit wholesale orders and assist in the fulfillment process for customers.
  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry stakeholders, and the community.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B wholesale sales preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals while building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and adapt to changing trends and priorities.
  • Familiarity with and experience in the cannabis sector preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong project coordination skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively.
  • Consistently demonstrates high ethical and professional standards.
  • Exhibits honesty and integrity in alignment with the company's vision, mission, policies, and procedures.
  • Must possess a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance.
  • This role requires frequent local travel, up to 75%.
