Position SummaryThe Wholesale Account Manager is tasked with overseeing wholesale accounts, generating new business opportunities, facilitating product launches, and driving sales within our wholesale division.
We seek a sales-driven individual capable of forging robust relationships with our wholesale partners and acting as a brand ambassador for our offerings.
This role collaborates with the sales team and cross-functional partners to achieve our financial objectives and secure consistent growth year over year.
Key Responsibilities- Implement all sales initiatives for our wholesale accounts.
- Identify and develop new accounts, enhance sales with existing clients, and cultivate essential customer relationships.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Analyze customer and competitor trends and provide regular market insights.
- Maintain ongoing communication and conduct regular visits to dispensaries with our clients.
- Organize, coordinate, and execute events to promote our brand and educate our partners and patients about our products.
- Expand our existing network of customer relationships and industry knowledge.
- Provide consistent updates on the status of our wholesale accounts.
- Develop promotional strategies, advertising campaigns, and educational programs to boost sales with clients.
- Identify and track new business opportunities and assist with sales agreements.
- Maintain and update a contact database for each of our wholesale partners.
- Generate excitement and coordinate the launch of new wholesale products.
- Solicit wholesale orders and assist in the fulfillment process for customers.
- Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry stakeholders, and the community.
- Proven experience in B2B sales.
- Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B wholesale sales is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals while building strong customer relationships.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and adapt to changing trends and priorities.
- Knowledge of and experience in the cannabis sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; strong time management skills.
- Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively.
- Consistently upholds high ethical and professional standards.
- Exhibits honesty and integrity in alignment with the company's vision, mission, policies, and procedures.
- Must possess a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance.
- This role requires frequent local travel, up to 75%.
