Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Security Operations Engineer to contribute to the development of automated deployment pipelines for cloud infrastructures and assist in the automation of build, testing, and release processes.

The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in our team, focusing on promoting and ensuring broad user engagement with Analytic Modeling capabilities to enhance our analytic initiatives.

This position offers a hybrid work environment, combining onsite collaboration and remote flexibility.

Role Overview :

As a Cloud Security Operations Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience with developer productivity, cloud-native applications, and container orchestration technologies.

A solid understanding of microservices architecture, container development, orchestration, service messaging, and security protocols is essential.

Required Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (BS) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a DevSecOps environment, supporting teams in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of containerized applications, and automating orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with helm charts.
  • Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration/management tools
  • Understanding of AWS cloud services
  • Experience with relevant scripting languages and operating systems (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Basic knowledge of scripting and software development packages for Infrastructure as Code development
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or similar configuration management tools
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting containers.
  • Experience deploying enterprise-scale applications in cloud-based environments
  • Flexibility in problem-solving, understanding customer needs and priorities, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Strong team collaboration skills that facilitate coordination within and across teams and functions
  • Ability to automate repetitive tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

  • CAC card with NGA Core experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
  • Security+ 8570 certification
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers
  • Solid understanding of messaging services such as NATS, Kafka, Redis
  • Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD tools
  • Strong background in Linux and Networking
  • Experience with SWIG
  • Software development experience in Java

Security Clearance Requirement :

  • Must currently hold Top Secret SCI clearance and be able to obtain a Poly.

Compensation Information

Full-Time Salary Range:
$95k - $145k

This range is based on our market pay structures.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:

business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
