Position Overview:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging cloud technologies to enhance our clients' IT frameworks. Your expertise will guide organizations in effectively utilizing cloud resources to meet their operational goals. Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow cloud specialists to architect and implement robust cloud solutions using platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Office 365.
  • Engage in a DevOps environment to develop and maintain containerized applications, utilizing tools like Kubernetes.
  • Explore innovative solutions in our internal labs for Azure, AWS, and GCP, addressing complex client challenges.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to deliver tailored technical solutions, whether modernizing existing systems or creating new applications.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS or Azure in live environments.
  • Proven track record of building and managing cloud infrastructures for at least 3 years.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree.
  • Willingness to obtain AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Azure certifications within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with open-source technologies and DevOps practices, including Docker and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • Knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation.
  • Ability to conduct proof-of-concept projects and develop prototypes.
  • Experience in resolving production issues within ITSM frameworks.
  • Understanding of DoD security protocols and cloud security best practices.
