Job Title: Strategic Operations Director

Maryland Works is a leading organization in cloud solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to join our SaaS Compliance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our compliance transformation.

About the Role
  • Drive the rhythm of the business, including reviews, leadership meetings, and strategy sessions
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Take a data and metrics-driven approach to consistent, iterative improvement
  • Identify stakeholder relationships to build and effectively partner with
  • Work closely with HR and the leadership team to improve team health and morale
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive executive reporting packages for tracking and managing the progress of the SaaS Compliance Transformation
  • Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development to create a Training Program for SaaS Compliance and drive adoption
  • Own programs that drive SaaS Compliance culture and employee trust via Award Programs, Communications Programs, and other team engagement programs
  • Implement best-practiced programs across the global Compute organization that include incident management, problem management, change management, and drive iterative improvement of software and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of program managing large globally diverse technical teams
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to influence with data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a history of presenting to senior leadership
