About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to join our team at Maryland Works. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and executing core projects and programs in support of our healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Leadership: Develop and execute operational plans for complex programs and critical initiatives related to our healthcare operations.
  2. Market Strategy: Maintain and refine key market segments and strategies to ensure business success.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various business units, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and on-budget implementation of market strategies.
  4. Market Analysis and Reporting: Provide comprehensive, accurate, timely, and relevant market analysis and reporting to inform our management team.
  5. Business Development: Promote our business through active participation in internal and external communications, planning activities, trade shows, and conferences.
  6. Product/Program Management: Manage products/programs and implement tools/enhancements to ensure new strategies are successfully developed and implemented.
  7. Business Case Development: Develop and maintain business cases and materials to support new program opportunities/enhancements and performance target metrics.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
  2. Experience: 8 years of analytic, account management, product development, project management, or consultative experience within healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, healthcare consulting, or other highly regulated industries.
  3. Program Management Experience: 2 years of program management experience.
  4. Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's Degree: Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field.
Physical Job Requirements
  1. Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  2. Physical Demands: Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk, and hear. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, and crouch. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  3. Visual Requirements: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Reporting Structure
  1. Reports to: Reports to Sr Principal, Sr Director, or VP in the Healthcare Operations or Business Development departments.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $109,000 to $174,000 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
