About the Position

Become a pivotal member of our innovative team, where you will work in close collaboration with leadership, clients, and industry experts to create impactful presentations for conferences and events. Your role will ensure that our messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with our broader marketing objectives. You will conduct comprehensive research to gather relevant data, insights, and narratives, coach speakers, and solicit feedback to continuously improve presentation methods, ultimately enhancing best practices and delivering memorable presentations at external events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leaders, clients, and partners to design effective event presentations that convey consistent messaging to diverse external audiences.
  • Lead the development of presentations, partnering with speakers to create engaging slides and scripts that effectively communicate key narratives and connect with other marketing initiatives.
  • Formulate recommendations and align with Marketing, Sales, Product, Clinical, and Communications teams on essential messages and themes for presentations at external conferences and marketing events.
  • Conduct thorough research to compile internal and external data, stories, and insights that support the creation of compelling presentation narratives and visuals.
  • Prepare and submit speaking proposals and necessary pre-event materials, informed by research on conferences, target audiences, and annual themes.
  • Stay informed on the latest healthcare developments through media and medical literature, translating findings into engaging narratives.
  • Guide presenters and speakers in crafting their talks and presentations to meet specific event objectives.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and timelines.
  • Gather feedback and seek exemplary external presentations to inspire ongoing improvement and advance best practices.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Brand, Corporate Marketing, or Communications, including at least 5 years in the healthcare sector.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with business, technical, and clinical senior executives and subject matter experts to develop key messages and presentations for marketing events.
  • Proven ability to write and edit a variety of informative and engaging presentations, including executive roundtables, keynotes, webinars, and conference breakout sessions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry topics and dynamics affecting patients, providers, health plans, employers, and technology providers.
  • Ability to research and comprehend medical literature to provide robust evidence supporting presentation messages.
  • Comfortable navigating between detailed information and high-level concepts, synthesizing complex data into digestible and compelling presentations.
  • A creative communicator who is proactive in generating new ideas while also being practical and reliable in execution.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Word/Google Docs and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
  • A natural storyteller with exceptional writing abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in scaling annual customer events from hundreds to thousands of participants.
  • Demonstrated success in securing speaking engagements at prestigious thought leadership events.
  • Familiarity with the musculoskeletal and pain management healthcare sectors and associated medical topics.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive annual salary, along with equity and benefits. The salary range is intended as a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
