About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Transactional Communications to join our team at Verizon. As a key member of our Communications department, you will be responsible for managing a team responsible for designing, developing, and executing transaction-driven and other non-marketing communications for our Home (Fios) business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of communications professionals responsible for creating best-in-class post-transaction, event-driven, or ad hoc communications experiences.
  • Develop and execute communications strategies that drive customer engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, agency creative, and development teams to ensure seamless execution of communications campaigns.
  • Oversee the communications strategy and execution elements, including cadences, variations, vehicles, dependencies, and more.
  • Manage budgets and contracts for external partners and agencies.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects.
  • Expertise in copy, creative, and strategy related to non-marketing communications.
  • Experience with technical aspects of 1:1 communications, such as dynamic data, triggering, and orchestration systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
