Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Global Business Strategy to join our team. The successful candidate will provide strategic insights and direction on the short and long-term potential for our global oncology pipeline compounds and launched brands. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining short to long-term forecasts for our consolidated global oncology portfolio, informing key business planning processes such as the Mid-Term Plan (MTP), Long-Term planning, and 3-Year Rolling Forecast.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short to long-term forecasts for our consolidated global oncology portfolio.
- Provide strategic insights and direction on the short and long-term potential for our global oncology pipeline compounds and launched brands.
- Lead the Business Strategy and Analytics (BSA) team and Oncology Business Unit (OBU) in providing financial and strategic input into the annual R&D pipeline prioritization process.
- Coordinate and compile quarterly business reviews on behalf of OBU, serving as key performance updates to Investor Relations to prepare senior leadership for earnings calls.
- Ensure consistency and application of key macro forecast assumptions at a tumor/disease level and develop best practices for sharing across the global and regional forecasting teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, or marketing required; MBA, MS, or PhD or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in market research, forecasting, and/or secondary analytical experience in Pharma/Biotech, with direct experience in competitive intelligence and translation required.
- 4+ years of oncology or hematology experience required; global or regional launch experience preferred; working on alliances preferred; international business experience, such as having worked in multiple regions and/or working as a global team member, preferred.
Travel
Ability to travel up to 20% globally and domestically.
