Deputy Assistant General Manager, Power Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Assistant General Manager to join our team at Zuckerberg San Francisco General. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in planning, design, and implementation of electric infrastructure projects, with a strong background in supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the Power Enterprise.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and review the operation and services of the Engineering & Field Operations Division.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the division's organizational structure, staff assignments, service levels, and administrative systems.
- Interact with other stakeholders, including Commission, other City departments, and local, state, and federal authorities, to address the energy needs of the City.
- Develop and implement operational and capital budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Supervise the maintenance and development of transmission and distribution services.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project or Construction Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Registered Professional Electrical Engineer in California.
- Experience working within a publicly owned utility governance structure.
- Relationship Management: Engage and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Implement plans and allocate resources to achieve long-term goals.
- Business Acumen: Develop sound budgets and plans surrounding financial and operational functions.
- Change Management: Drive the adoption and usage of new solutions.
- Accountability: Act as a responsible steward of resources.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
- Talent Management: Build and develop a highly-skilled workforce.
- Innovation: Encourage exploration of new ideas and improvements.
- Safety Excellence: Promote a safety culture of the highest standard.
- Valuing Diversity: Foster an inclusive and cooperative work environment.
