Role Overview
As we prepare for our next growth phase, we seek a smart, highly motivated, and experienced self-starter with proven sales expertise and a history of exceeding targets to join our exceptional sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a self-sourced sales pipeline of qualified opportunities within the mid-market sector.
- Become a subject matter expert for clients, providing insights on key market trends and challenges.
- Guide a consultative sales process from qualification to conversion with prospects, utilizing a revenue framework to identify customer pain points, collaborate with champions and buying committees, drive consensus, and involve additional team members as necessary.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to various departments, showcasing Deputy as a unique and differentiated solution provider.
- Negotiate mutually beneficial deal terms to secure new business and establish long-term success for new clients.
- Communicate your sales pipeline forecast using MEDDPICC or a similar revenue framework.
- Maintain updated sales records and prospect statuses using Salesforce, Gong, and other sales tools.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Business Development, Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Support, Product, and Finance) to define strategies that maximize value for prospects, customers, and Deputy.
- Represent Deputy and your brand with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a closing role within the B2B SaaS and/or Workforce Management Technology sectors.
- Experience selling software solutions in complex environments with large buying committees.
- Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS sales (meeting and exceeding targets).
- Proficiency in revenue frameworks such as MEDDPICC, SPICED, Force Management, Sandler, and/or Challenger.
- Proven ability to cultivate a qualified sales pipeline.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build an outbound pipeline based on product-market fit and targeted accounts.
- Experience with Account-based Sales strategies and marketing initiatives is advantageous.
- Familiarity with territory planning and execution.
- Experience mentoring a Business Development Representative to achieve sales goals is a plus.
- Experience selling to franchise brands is beneficial.
- Experience co-selling with integrated software partners is a plus.
