Position Overview: As a Lead Automation Solutions Engineer, you will spearhead the automation strategy and execution plan, focusing on software development and systems integration, particularly in the Building Automation System (BAS) and critical utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Project Management:** Oversee high-visibility automation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to financial objectives.
2. **Technical Leadership:** Provide expert guidance to both Takeda personnel and contractors, facilitating successful project outcomes.
3. **Scope Definition:** Lead the development of project scopes, conceptual designs, specifications, and budgets.
4. **Documentation:** Ensure the creation of functional Life Cycle documentation and compliance with cGMPs and Takeda Quality Systems standards.
5. **Critical Systems Oversight:** Manage activities related to PLC/HMI-based equipment and BAS projects, ensuring all engineering tasks are completed on schedule.
6. **Corrective Actions Management:** Address and resolve issues related to automation systems, including CAPA for user interventions and non-conformances.
7. **Financial Analysis:** Assist in financial planning and project justification analysis.
8. **Collaboration:** Work closely with Global and Local Automation teams to align on strategic objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required; Computer, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with some leadership experience preferred.
- Proven experience in managing automation systems within FDA-regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, FDA guidelines, and validation processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards and troubleshooting skills in automation systems.

Work Environment:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Combination of sedentary work and active observation of facility conditions.
- Compliance with gowning requirements in controlled environments.
