The Senior Automation and Build Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing innovative frameworks within Tinder Engineering. This position involves collaboration with various feature teams and outsourced QA automation engineers to ensure the highest quality standards during development, ensuring timely product releases with robust test automation coverage. The ideal candidate will be tasked with recommending, enhancing, and implementing testing tools, techniques, and technologies. We seek a leader in automation who can partner with our team at Tinder to continually enhance our automated testing efficiency while upholding the exceptional quality our users expect. The Senior Automation and Build Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining our build stack and updating it to the latest versions of essential tools.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure features are designed with automation testability in mind. Assess existing automation frameworks and test scripts, driving necessary modifications. Advise on, enhance, and implement the use of established automation tools, technologies, and techniques to address specific challenges. Lead and mentor quality engineering vendor team members on best practices and automation framework development. Develop an automated dashboard to elevate the quality of our releases by maintaining automated tests integrated into our CI/CD pipelines. Oversee the evaluation of various vendor tools through scalable proofs of concept. Manage and enhance our CI pipelines for iOS. Keep our build stack updated with the latest versions of tools. Enhance the reliability and performance of testing and build processes. Qualifications: A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in developing large-scale mobile applications for consumer-facing platforms (Business to Consumer) on iOS for a global technology company. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience with automation frameworks for mobile app testing. Strong knowledge of automation implementation, including functional, performance, regression, analytics, and accessibility testing. Experience with external testing solutions such as BrowserStack, Marathon Lab, or AWS. A passion for continuous learning and the ability to effectively communicate technology-oriented concepts.
