ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate scheduling, coordinate meetings, manage travel arrangements, oversee team financial reports, filter and assign incoming communications, and provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Execute potentially sensitive and intricate administrative tasks utilizing Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, including drafting correspondence, updating spreadsheets, and preparing presentations.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, adaptability to shifting daily priorities, and a commitment to operational efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Support project management efforts and sustain progress on critical initiatives, including but not limited to staffing and resource allocation, onboarding new team members, spatial organization, and strategic planning for interdepartmental efficiencies.
  • Plan and coordinate departmental events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an administrative capacity, or 6+ years of relevant experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience providing support to senior executives in a dynamic, startup environment.
  • Proven track record as an executive assistant.
  • 5+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Extensive professional experience and strong computer skills.
  • Ability to engage in project scope development, manage timelines, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, coupled with a positive and energetic work ethic.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently and autonomously.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role requires onsite presence and does not accommodate remote work.
  • Willingness to travel to various company locations, vendors, and clients as necessary.
  • Availability for extended hours and weekends as required.
  • Ability to pass background checks as mandated by regulatory requirements.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary range:

Administrative Operations Coordinator: $75,000 - $145,000 annually.

Your specific level and base salary will be determined based on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one component of your overall rewards package at SpaceX. You may also qualify for long-term incentives, such as company stock, stock options, or cash awards, along with potential discretionary bonuses and the opportunity to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks are also included. You will accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays annually. Exempt employees receive 5 days of sick leave each year.
