Overview

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our senior living communities. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Administration Operations, this position collaborates closely with the Senior Director of Financial Operations and other key stakeholders to manage revenue cycle processes and accounts receivable effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the billing and revenue collection processes throughout the entire lifecycle of resident care.
  • Guarantee the precision and timely distribution of resident statements, ensuring they are sent out by the designated deadline each month.
  • Provide guidance and support to communities experiencing transitions in their DBA roles, ensuring seamless resident account management prior to statement issuance.
  • Act as the primary contact for inquiries related to resident payments and lockbox operations.
  • Lead training sessions and address questions regarding the resident payment portal.
  • Manage support requests related to the revenue cycle and online payment systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development of the role.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on systems and procedures for associate training purposes.
  • Assist with various projects, including annual rate adjustments and the implementation of new systems.
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred educational background includes an associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management is required.
  • Experience in a multi-site organization is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the printing and mailing of large volumes of statements is beneficial.
  • Prior experience managing online bill payment systems is a plus.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at utilizing internet search tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Yardi, Modus, or Rent Caf is advantageous.
  • Competence in operating office equipment and troubleshooting related issues.
