Position Overview

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the billing and revenue collection processes within the senior living sector. This role collaborates closely with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial activities related to resident accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the billing and revenue collection processes throughout the entire lifecycle of senior living residents.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation, printing, and distribution of resident statements each month.
  • Provide guidance and support to communities with new or vacant positions to ensure all resident transactions are handled efficiently.
  • Act as the primary contact for inquiries related to resident payments and lockbox services.
  • Lead training sessions for the resident payment portal and address any related questions.
  • Manage support requests submitted through the internal system regarding revenue cycle and online payment issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development of the role.
  • Create and maintain documentation for training purposes on systems and processes.
  • Assist with various projects, including annual rate adjustments and new system implementations.
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management.
  • Experience in a multi-site organization is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with large-scale statement printing and mailing processes.
  • Experience managing online bill payment systems is a plus.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at using internet search tools.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Yardi, Modus, or Rent Caf is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of office equipment and troubleshooting skills.
