Job Overview

The Outbound Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in executing tasks related to the fulfillment, processing, and preparation of orders for dispatch.

Work Schedule:

  • Sunday to Thursday from 4 PM to 12:30 AM
  • Mandatory overtime during peak seasons

Key Responsibilities


• Accurately pick and prepare orders for various types of shipments, including direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and retail orders.


• Efficiently locate and scan product barcodes using a handheld RF device to ensure precise order fulfillment.


• Operate electric or manual pallet jacks for larger case picks.


• Pack orders carefully to minimize the risk of damage during transit.


• Properly stack and wrap larger orders on pallets in preparation for shipment.


• Confirm order completeness and accuracy using the computer system.


• Label and ticket orders as required.


• Maintain a tidy work environment, including the proper disposal of waste materials using the compactor as necessary.


• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety, including food safety, quality control, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment usage.


• Assist with inventory checks and other distribution tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of prior warehouse or related experience is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods in a large warehouse setting.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs regularly, with the ability to twist, bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs safely.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Comfortable using a computer for order verification.
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanning devices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electric or manual pallet jacks is a plus, but training will be provided for those willing to learn.
