Position Title: Engineering Technician IV

Role Summary:

This role is integral to the Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP) facility, focusing on Maintenance Planning and Engineering Analysis (MPEA). The selected candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating Technical Work Documents (TWDs) from ongoing CNO Availabilities to verify compliance with SUBMEPP Maintenance Standards and Requirements outlined in each Availability Work Package (AWP).

Work Environment: This is an onsite position, requiring in-person collaboration at a Patrona or customer site.

Compensation Structure:

At Patrona Corporation, salary is influenced by various factors, including geographic location, individual qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as specific contract requirements. The displayed salary range or hourly rate represents the typical compensation for this role and is a component of the comprehensive benefits package offered to employees.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, technical school graduate, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Recent experience in shipyard submarine availability maintenance, with familiarity in availability work packages and tracking metrics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in submarine maintenance planning or execution.
  • Proficient in Advanced Industrial Management (WEB AIM), Maintenance & Ship Work Planning (M&SWP), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in file management and data entry for submarine maintenance scheduling and historical records.
  • Comprehensive understanding of submarine overhauls, including Maintenance Standards (MS), Unrestricted Operation-Maintenance Requirement Card (URO-MRC), and basic Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) submarine systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of TWDs to ensure appropriate scheduling credit for planned tasks.
  • Identify all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance performed during submarine availability.
  • Review and refine various reports, ensuring accurate documentation for Maintenance Standard (MS) work related to submarine availability scheduling.
  • Update the scheduling system with real-time data and information for engineers.
  • Maintain access to WEB AIM and Hit-Kit Databases at multiple public shipyards, downloading TWDs weekly.
  • Ensure databases are current, providing engineers with access to TWDs and essential submarine availability information.
