Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Gifts and Records Administrator to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the administrative functions of the Office of Institutional Advancement, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing exceptional customer service to multiple constituencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise an Administrative Assistant and oversee all administrative functions of the Office of Institutional Advancement.
  • Manage events for the Institutional Advancement Office, including planning, logistics, and implementation of key events such as Board of Overseer meetings and Alumni Weekend activities.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Office and Central Gifts Office to manage all facets of existing and incoming gifts, from processing to reconciling and troubleshooting gift issues.
  • Work with the Finance Office to coordinate all accounts payable for the Office of Institutional Advancement's ongoing events, projects, and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
