Role Overview
The Electrical Test Engineering team at Anduril is responsible for developing testing systems that ensure the quality and reliability of our aerial and ground-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities
As a Test Automation Specialist, you will:

  • Lead the definition of End of Line test plans for new products and features in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware teams.
  • Determine test strategies that enhance product safety, reliability, risk management, and schedule adherence.
  • Design and execute tests for PCBA and electrical system components, performing hands-on testing and rework as necessary.
  • Analyze data and communicate results clearly, collaborating with design engineers to address any issues identified during testing.
  • Develop next-generation test automation hardware systems to enable rapid and repeatable product testing.
  • Oversee the procurement, assembly, integration, and commissioning of functional testers.
  • Create test procedures and automation from component to system level.
  • Support board bring-up and bench validation as required.
  • Assist Design Engineers with DFT, providing feedback from test results to enhance quality and coverage.
  • Support manufacturing test bring-up and yield improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct quality field failure analysis.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing functional test equipment and PCBAs.
  • Proficiency in Schematic Capture and PCBA layout.
  • Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as Python, Matlab, PERL, or SHELL.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of communication bus protocols including USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, and CAN.
  • Understanding of memory hierarchy and validation strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
