Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to conduct static, dynamic, fatigue, thermal, and vibration assessments across all Anduril product lines.
  • Evaluate components ranging from compact integrated electronic systems to complete aircraft structures.
  • Utilize thermal chambers, vibration platforms, data collection systems, and structural testing apparatus to achieve testing goals.
  • Oversee design evaluations, perform analyses, engage with suppliers, and formulate and implement hardware testing strategies.
  • Develop testing apparatus, incorporate test automation, assess failures, and carry out qualification processes.
  • Assist in critical hardware demonstrations for clients as required.
  • Travel to various testing locations as necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a collaborative interdisciplinary technical project environment, whether in academic or professional contexts.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (any platform) with the capability to produce high-quality engineering drawings adhering to industry standards.
  • Background in hardware automation and integration of software with hardware systems.
  • Proven hands-on fabrication expertise.
  • Strong understanding and application of engineering principles.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in an engineering field.
  • Must possess U.S. Person status to access export-controlled information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with NX/Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation development, such as Python or Matlab.
  • Ability to integrate electronic components into mechanical systems (including motors, controllers, sensors, etc.).
  • Experience with machining, sheet metal work, injection molding, and 3D printing technologies.
