Senior Director of Business Development, National Security

Job Overview
Astroscale U.S. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Business Development to lead our national security business development team and drive sales activities with US national security and intelligence agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the national security business development team and oversee direct and indirect sales activities, including developing and executing commercial sales strategies.
- Grow and develop team members through coaching and mentorship, including creating and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Develop and present bid/no-bid strategies, and support proposal planning, preparation, and submission.
- Collaborate with Policy, Government Relations, and MarComms teams to effectively build policy framework for sales.
- Represent Astroscale U.S. at industry conferences and customer meetings.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of sales and sales management experience, including at least 5 years in aerospace or related technology sector.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and coaching team members, with the ability to set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback.
- Experience in fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing a pipeline of customer opportunities in an emerging technology market.
