About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Business Growth to join our team at Movers+Shakers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, relationship-building, and innovative marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at top brands and agencies, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create high-quality proposals and pitches that showcase our expertise and value proposition.
  • Manage our inbound pipeline, prioritizing and chasing prospects to drive conversions and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement an outbound process to proactively reach out to potential clients and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Partner with our marketing team to improve our external marketing and inbound process, driving lead generation and conversion.
  • Coach and mentor our account teams on growing their accounts and increasing revenue.
  • Track and report on business development metrics, including pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in social strategy.
  • Extensive experience in agency new business and social media marketing.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve their goals.
  • Extensive client-facing experience in past roles, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and identify new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Experience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
