The Client Relationship Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and responsiveness, ensuring the fulfillment and satisfaction of both internal and external clients. This position is responsible for the efficient and timely execution of routine transactions and related services, adhering to established policies and procedures. The individual will also identify and refer sales opportunities to the appropriate business partner or line of business to meet customer needs. Interactions may occur in person or via telephone.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in related banking roles or equivalent sales/customer service experience

  • Ability to engage with customers, identify their needs, and explore opportunities
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills, including problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • 65% - Process routine transactions and general customer and account servicing duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including various teller transactions in compliance with policies and procedures. Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing forms and reports, and daily vault balancing. Engage in referral and relationship management in line with established objectives and goals. Support new deposit account openings as necessary while adhering to security measures to minimize potential losses.
  • 25% - Identify customer opportunities through interactive and consultative conversations to assess and address customer needs. Provide services, including basic deposit account openings and referrals to appropriate business partners when necessary. Conduct sales and service calls to existing and potential customers to ensure their needs are met and to generate new sales leads. Take ownership of resolving customer issues and complaints while delivering a high level of responsiveness. Ensure fulfillment and customer satisfaction through direct personal action and enlist additional support as needed.
  • 5% - Participate in community events that support the objectives of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
  • 5% - Perform other duties as assigned and required.
