Business Relationship Specialist II

Atlanta Postal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Business Relationship Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our business lending, deposits, and treasury services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our business members and engaging in needs-based dialogue to deepen relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding service to internal and external members, ensuring alignment with our Service Promises.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex business services product offerings, including treasury management and payment services, and business loans.
  • Collaborate across departmental functional and support units to ensure timely implementation, setup, and delivery of business payment services.
  • Responsible for the timely submission of business loan requests.
  • Build trust and rapport with potential business clients, gaining a full understanding of their business, financial well-being, revenue streams, and strategic objectives.
  • Offer appropriate products and services to enable prospective business members to achieve their financial goals, accelerate receivables, and improve internal payment and cash management practices.
  • Process a variety of business member transactions, including onboarding, transactions, maintenance requests, disputes, and escalations from the branch network and other service areas of the credit union.
  • Respond to service and sales inquiries received through various channels, including email, online inquiries, inbound calls, and branch referrals.
  • Take initiative for internal interactions to resolve member issues and assume ownership for follow-up and updates to the business member regarding resolution details.
Requirements:
  • An associate's degree in business management, business administration, or a related field of study, or 2 years of additional specific work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years of consultative customer service work experience in banking, financial services, or a credit union.
  • Prior cross-selling and recommending treasury management products and services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business management, business administration, or a related field of study.
  • 2 years of specific member-facing work experience recommending, implementing, and administering treasury management and business lending products and services.
  • Prior experience completing transactions in Symitar and Meridian Link.
Physical Job Requirements:

Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines, including calculators, computers, printers, facsimile machines, telephones, copiers, etc. Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop as needed. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 5 to 25 pounds.
